    National Oil Company of Malawi: Process automation for enhanced productivity and removal of bottlenecks

    Overview: NOCMA is a government-owned company mandated to manage the country's strategic fuel reserve facilities, promote competition in the oil and gas industry, and to promote oil and gas exploration activities in order to ensure stability and security of supply of liquid fuel and gas products. Industry: Oil and Gas Size: 501-1000 employees   Challenges faced before implementation All sales and purchase transactions were manually processed There was a very low speed in the processing of management reports from transactions done Record-keeping was difficult There were problems in budget implementation due to manual processes As NOCMA continued to grow so did its transactions. At this point, NOCMA realised something had to be done to solve the challenges faced. Management thought of ways to simplify work for employees and the whole organization.
